They loved it while doing their first project. But they put it way after that. I am hoping they pick it back up when they are older.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04299100592327267900noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-469834802081457113.post-59394582960296632462012-09-10T16:26:35.334-05:002012-09-10T16:26:35.334-05:00You're right. Every time I pick up the crafts I made under Grandma's supervision I am transported back to the place and a wonderful happy memories. The new project looks beautiful and I am sure you're proud of your daughter too.Farmgirl Heidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07550237327556460565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-469834802081457113.post-53653124958383539912012-09-10T15:22:27.507-05:002012-09-10T15:22:27.507-05:00Love this post. My daughter just started sewing this year and I'm hoping she'll be interested in embroidery or knitting soon! I know if I push her, she'll decide she doesn't want to do it, so I wait for her to come to me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-469834802081457113.post-4441066447290820742012-09-10T14:07:49.430-05:002012-09-10T14:07:49.430-05:00Good for you! After that, I was hooked and have tackled some HUGE projects. More recently, I've come to embroidery. I love it!!! There are too many things that I want to make--I figure I can never die at this rate, because I'll never be finished.

I understand the obsession. I was all of three when my grandmother stuck a needle in my hand and started teaching me to make stitches via chicken scratch embroidery. I will say one thing about doing it that way--it teaches you to make fine, even neat hand stitches! I'm starting to teach my four-year-old niece to sew, but we haven't tried Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07717835382469677601noreply@blogger.com
